Brazil’s National Book and Reading Plan

Brazil’s PNLL, implemented in 2006, made important progress for the entire book and reading chain, including the creation of a State Policy through Law 13696/2018, which created the National Reading and Writing Policy/PNLE, called the "Castilho Act", which provides for ten-year national plans for books and reading. Understanding and communicating this process that Brazil is going through is the aim of this conference.
