02-10-2024 13:15 02-10-2024 14:45 Europe/Madrid Literature in Chinese to translate Chinese literature has undergone an enormous transformation and boom in recent years, ranging from well-established authors such as Nobel Prize winner Mo Yan to unusual phenomena such as the emergence of Chinese science fiction and manhua graphic novels. The works that have reached us in Spain have diversified and the authors that are published are becoming younger and younger. In this panel discussion we’ll see what’s been translated into Spanish so far and, above all, what remains to be translated and what current-day Chinese literature has to offer readers and publishers. Resources will also be presented for any Spanish-language publishers wishing to explore the Chinese literary world. CC1, Sala 1.5
